Introducing Rebecca Shellard – ELE’s new Chief Financial Officer
To coincide with David Stanley’s recent appointment as our new CEO, ELE Advanced Technologies has appointed Rebecca Shellard to fulfil David’s former role as Chief Financial Offer.
Rebecca brings to the role over 20 years’ experience working across multiple sectors, including property, leisure, retail and manufacturing, on a global scale.
Most recently Rebecca has worked in a fast-based, private equity backed business. Her achievements while in this role saw Rebecca named Northern Finance Director of the Year 2023 in the Turnaround category of the Northern Finance Director Awards.
The awards pay tribute to the enterprise, leadership, resilience, social impact and all-round excellence of financial leaders and their teams in Northern businesses over the past 12 months.
This recent accolade for Rebecca is based on the way in which she played a leading role in optimising the efficiency and cash management of the business to boost profitability – and attracted an investment deal to enable a sustainable and transformed future for the business.
Rebecca said: “It’s such an honour to be recognised for just ’doing the job’ – and among such a high calibre of talent too. It was as fantastic evening, celebrating some exceptional finance talent in the region.

Aside from work, Rebecca enjoys going to the gym, walking her French bulldogs and spending time with her three children.
