Strengthening Partnerships, Driving Innovation: ELE and Siemens Energy

At ELE Advanced Technologies, we take pride in our long-standing strategic partnership with Siemens Energy. This collaboration continues to drive innovation and excellence in the energy sector in the development & manufacture of Hot Gas Path components that will be used in multiple industrial gas turbines

In February, we had the privilege of hosting Arne Wohlschlegel, Director of Siemens Energy Canada, and Steve Lewis, Head of Technology & Engineering, at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Their visit provided an opportunity to showcase the precision, expertise, and innovation that go into manufacturing key IGT blades for the Siemens Energy A35 & A65 engine platforms. The discussions focused on strengthening our collaboration, enhancing efficiencies, and exploring new opportunities to support the evolving needs of the industrial gas turbines market.

ELE has made significant capital investments to increase production capacity, reinforcing our commitment to meeting the growing global demand for high-performance turbine components. Our latest investments include advanced machining technology, further strengthening our capabilities to deliver high-integrity components with enhanced precision and efficiency.

We are currently working closely with Siemens Energy on the validation of this new machinery, ensuring it meets the highest industry standards and aligns with the needs of future projects. This collaborative approach not only supports Siemens Energy’s objectives but also positions ELE as a key partner in driving technological advancements and sustainable growth in the energy sector.

The positive feedback from Siemens Energy underscores the strength of our partnership and the mutual commitment to excellence. As Arne Wohlschlegel highlighted, “the importance of tight interconnections with our supply chain cannot be overstated, as it ensures seamless operations and maximizes benefits for all parties involved.” Industry professionals have praised the expertise and dedication of the ELE team, highlighting our role as a leader in gas component manufacturing technologies.

We extend our sincere thanks to Arne, Steve, and the Siemens Energy team for their continued trust and collaboration. As we move forward, ELE remains committed to innovation, quality, and delivering best-in-class solutions for the global energy industry.
